| já agora, o sítio com temas e fundos para GNOME art.gnome.org não está totalmente recuperado, mas pelo menos podem ver-se novamente os conteúdos sem andar a navegar pela estrutura do sistema de ficheiros: |
Since the intrusion of the gnome.org webserver in March, security precautions meant that art.gnome.org had to be taken down and the source code made more secure. This process has taken a lot longer than expected, so as a temporary solution, I am providing this static site to allow visitors to browse the themes and backgrounds in our archives. I will be making modifications to this static site over the next few days to make it more user friendly, but because of it's static nature, the search function and submit function are not available. I will also hopefully be able to have some new themes added to the site in due course. Discussion boards are available at the gnomesupport.org website. If you wish to submit a theme, please post it on the submissions thread. e recentemente também foi apresentado gnome-look.org:
KDE-Look.org got a new sister today. GNOME-Look.org is the KDE-Look.org counterpart for the GNOME community. GNOME-Look.org is closely connected to KDE-Look.org. The user database and a few content categories are shared. The purpose of GNOME-Look.org is to support the GNOME art community and to bring the KDE and GNOME communities closer together. Let's work towards unified icons, themes and skins and push the free desktop as a whole.
