| Once we logged in, we were disappointed. For one thing, there was no "TaDa" sound that was a clear aural indication that we had accomplished the near impossible. No. We were greeted with a clear and pleasant sound that suggested, "Hey, how're you doing?" I mean if they're going to copy Windows they really ought to pay more attention to detail. Mike also found it kind of creepy that we didn't have to fine-tune any IRQ, ICQ, or PBS settings. Estes senhores são tão palhaços que não se apercebem que o linux não copia o windows (quanto ao contrário, já não digo nada....) In all fairness, I've had Linus installations where I couldn't get anything to work correctly. However, I suspect this is because there are no EXE or COM files in Linus and it's a problem I'm sure will be corrected soon. AUTOEXEC.BAT doesn't seem to work either. Someone clue me in here. ROTFL...
